sum of 2 and 3 is 5
sum of 10 and 15 is 25
probability of getting rotten orange is 5/25*3
so, 3/5
probability of getting rotten bananas is 5/25*2
so, 2/5
hope it helps.....

Let the common ratio be x
Total fruits=2x + 3x = 5x
Rotten oranges
15/100 × 2x = 3x/10
Rotten Bananas
10/100 × 3x = 3x/10
Total rotten fruits
3x/10 + 3x/10 = 3x/5
Probability
3x/5 / 5x = 3/25
Total fruits=2x + 3x = 5x
Rotten oranges
15/100 × 2x = 3x/10
Rotten Bananas
10/100 × 3x = 3x/10
Total rotten fruits
3x/10 + 3x/10 = 3x/5
Probability
3x/5 / 5x = 3/25
