In a fruit cocktail drink, pineapple juice, orange juice, and apple juice are mixed in the ratio 7:5:4.
(a) How much of each juice do you need to make 80ml of the cocktail?
(b) How much of each juice do you need to make 800ml of the cocktail?

let 7x+5x+4x=16x

16x=80

x=80÷16

×=5

7: 5: 4 = 80ml

then 7+5+4 =16 =80

now. 80/16. =5.

now 5×7 =35ml

5×5. =25ml

5×4 = 20ml
