Correct Question :-

In a fruit godown, 800kg of apples are stored. if 27% of them are defective, how much fruit is good in the godown.

Given :-

Capacity of godown = 800kg of apples

Defective apples = 27%

To Find :-

The number of good apples left in the godown

Solution :-

Total number of apples = 800Kg

Total number of defective apples = 27% of 800kg

=\: {\dfrac{27}{\cancel{100}^{1}}}\: \times \cancel{800}^{8}

=\: 27 \times 8

= 216

Therefore, total 216kg apples are defective.

No. of good apples = 800kg - 216kg

= 584 kg

Therefore, 584kg of good apples are left in the godown
