Solution:

Let us take the punch drink to be of quantity x

Given, 1/4 -th of the drink is apple juice.

Then apple juice = x/4

And 3/10 -th of the drink is orange juice.

Then orange juice = 3x/10

Then, the portion for cranberry juice

= x - (x/4 + 3x/10)

= x - {(5x + 6x)/20}

= x - 11x/20

= (20x - 11x)/20

= 9x/20

Hence, the ratio of cranberry juice to apple juice to orange juice

= 9x/20 : x/4 : 3x/10

= (9x * 20)/(20 * x) : (x * 20)/(4 * x) : (3x * 20)/(10 * x)

= 9 : 5 : 6 ,

which is the required simplest form.
