Answer:

18.52%

Step-by-step explanation:

Cost of 1 table bought = Rs 450

Cost of 24 table bought = Rs 450*24

= Rs 10800

Now,

16 tables were sold for Rs 600 each.

Selling price of 16 table = Rs 600* 16

= Rs 9600

And,

Remaining tables(i.e. 8 ) tables are sold for Rs 400 each.

Selling price of 8 tables = Rs 400* 8

= Rs 3200

Net selling price of all the 24 tables = Rs 9600+ Rs 3200

= Rs 12800

Now,

Net Gain on selling

the tables = Net selling price- Net cost price

= Rs 12800 - Rs 10800

= Rs 2000

Net Gain percentage on

selling the tables = (Gain/Net cost price) *100

= (2000/10800)*100

= 18.52%

Hence, Net gain of the shopkeeper on selling those tables is 18.52%.
