cost price of the tables=24*450=10800 rs

selling price of 16 tables=16*600=9600 rs

remaining chairs=24-16=8

selling price of 8 tables=8*400=3200 rs

total selling price=9600+3200 rs=12800 rs

clearly, sp is greater than cp so profit

profit=sp-cp=12800-10800=2000 rs

profit%=profit/cp*100=2000/10800*100=18.518% approx

hope it helped you....PLS MARK AS BRAINLIEST ANSWER....

24 tables at 450 per

24*450=10800

cp= 10800

sp=16*600+8*400

sp=12800

gain= cp- sp

gain=12800-10800

gain=2000

gain%=2000\10800

gain% =5•4%
