In a game of tug of war three girls of team A pull the rope with the forces of 80N,100N and 120 N. In the team B three girls pull the rope in the forces of 85N , 105N and 125N . What is the resultant force. Which team is the winner

Hello mate.
Here add the forces to find the total i.e
= 80+100+120
=300 - Team A
Team B = 85+105+125
=315 - Team B
Thus, Team B is winner as force is more than Team A

To find,

The resultant force and which one is the winner team.

Solution,

The resultant force can easily be found by subtracting the less force from the larger force.

Total force applied by team A=80+100+120=300 N.

Total force applied by Team B= 85+105+125

=315 N.

Team B had applied more force.

Resultant force= Force applied by team B - Force applied by Team A.

=315-300

=15 N.

So, the resultant force is 15 N and the winning team is Team B.
