In a game of Yahtzee, you roll 5 dice where order does not matter. If I roll my five dice, what's the probability that I get no 3's or no odd numbers given that I roll exactly two 2's?

Answer:

10*3*3*3/(6^5) = 5/144

Step-by-step explanation:

Probability = Winning chances / Total Chances.

Total combinations with 5 dice = 6^5 .

Out of the 5 dice, 2 dice are exactly for two number on them.

How many ways we can get this? The answer is 5C2 = 5!/(3!*2!) = 10

Remaining dice should not get odd numbers on them.

How many possibilities for each dice? The answer is 3 for each die. (only possible are 2, 4, 6)

Possibilities for each of three die = 3*3*3

Total winning possibilities = 10*3*3*3

Probability = 10*3*3*3/6^5 = 5/144
