In a game, there are five players. As per the rule - 15 player will give half of his total
amount to the 2nd player, 2nd player will then give half of his total amount to the 3rd player,
3rd player will then give half of his total amount to 4" player, 4th player will then give half of
his total amount to 5th player. Now everybody has an equal amount left with him. If the 2nd
person had Rs. 44 in the beginning, what is the total of starting amounts of player 3 and 5?

Answer:

2nd player has rs 44

so, he will give half to 3rd = 1/2 ×44

= rs 22

third player will give half of 22 , which is rs . 11 , to 4th player

4th player will give half of 11, which rs. 5.5

answer : 3rd player will get rs. 22 and 5th will get rs. 5.5
