Answer:

Total number of trees = 1136

Step-by-step explanation:

Given -:

  • Mango tree = \frac{1}{3}
  • Litchi tree = \frac{1}{4}
  • Banana tree = \frac{1}{6}
  • Guava tree = 284

To Find -:

  • Total number of trees

Solution -:

Add Mango,Litchi and Banana trees -:

 \small\rm{ \frac{1}{3} +  \frac{1}{4} +  \frac{1}{6}   }

→ LCM of 3,4 and 6 = 12

 \small \rm →\frac{4 + 3 + 2}{12}

→ \small\rm  \frac{9}{12}

So, Mango, Litchi and Banana trees =  \small\rm  \frac{9}{12}

Finding Guava Trees -:

→ \small\rm  \frac{12}{12} -  \frac{9}{12}

→ \small\rm  \frac{3}{12}

Guava tree = \frac{3}{12}

Given Guava trees = 284

Finding total number of trees -:

 \small\rm{284} \times  \frac{12}{3}  = 1136

Total number of trees = 1136
