in a garden ,roses and marigold are planted in square plots. the length of the square plot in which roses are planted is 2 metres greater than the length of the square plot in which marigolds are planted. how much bigger in area is the rose plot than the marigold plot

if we assume that the length of marigold is 2 m.
hence it's area will be 2*2*=4

therefore the length of the rose square plot will be =2+marigold plot
=2+2
=4
therefore the plot area of the rose pots will be 4*4=16
therefore plot of marigold=4
plot of rose=16
therefore we conclude that the area of the rose square increases 4times .
