In a garden there are 10 plants there are 5 rows and each row 4 plants how it is possible

in a garden which has 10 plants in it and each row consists of 4 plants whereas each column consists of two plants this forms the eq. that
5*4=20
4*10=40
40-20=20
5*2=10(each column consists 2 plants and there are 5 rows)
