Between 1212 mango trees, there are 1111gaps and each gap has 22 metre length. Also, 11 metre is left from all sides of the boundary of the garden.

Hence, length of the garden
=11×2+1+1=24=11×2+1+1=24 metre

Answer:

24 meters

Step-by-step explanation:

Since we have 12 columns and 10 rows we will analyze the question as follows :

Between the 12 trees there are 11

spaces.

The total distance between the trees = 11 × 2 =22 m

Between the 10 trees there are 9 spaces.

There are 4 boundaries given that the plantation forms a rectangle.

The total lengths at the boundary is thus : 4 × 1 = 4m

The length of the field is given as :

At the length there are two boundaries so we add 2 meters to the total length between the trees.

This gives :

22 +2 = 24 meters
