Mean

sum of all observations / total no. of observations

42+40+49+53+ 47+ 63+ 55+ 41+97+53+99+ 41+ 43+ 53+ 61 / 15

837 / 15

Mean = 55.8

Median

(first arrange in ascending order)

40,41, 41, 42, 43, 47, 49, 53, 53, 53, 55, 61, 63, 97, 99

no. of observations = 15 (odd)

so , no. + 1 / 2

15 + 1 / 2

16 / 2

8

median is 8th term (coz ans in 8)

Median = 53 (8th term)

Mode

the no. which occurs most of the time

(first arrange in ascending order)

40,41, 41, 42, 43, 47, 49, 53, 53, 53, 55, 61, 63, 97, 99

53 occurs most of the time

Mode = 53

Hope it helps uh

Answer:

Mean=

 \frac{42 + 40 + 49 + 53 + 47 + 63 + 55 + 41 + 97 + 53 + 99 + 41 + 43 + 53 + 61}{15}  \\  \frac{837}{15}  \\ =  55.8

Median:

Ascending order:40,41,41,42,43,47,49,53,53,53,55,61,63,97,99

Median: n+1/2=15+1/2=16/2=8

So the median is 53

Mode:That appears maximum of times.

Mode = 53
