Step-by-step explanation:

Geometric progression a,ar,ar^2,ar^3,....

where a is first term and r is common ratio

now given second term=6

ar^(n-1)=ar^(2-1)=ar=6....(1)

fifth term=48

ar^4=48....(2)

now

(2)/(1)

ar^4/ar=48/6=8

r^3=8

r=2

now ar=6=>a*2=6=>a=3

tenth term=ar^9=3*2^9=3*512=1536
