Given,,

First term (a) = -2

common ratio (r) = -5

We know,

{n}^{th} \: term = ar^{n - 1}

Hence,

{1}^{st}term = (-2) \times( - 5)^{1 - 1} \\  = ( - 2)

{2}^{nd}term  = ( - 2)\times( - 5) ^{2 - 1} \\  = 10

 {3}^{rd}term = ( - 2)( - 5)^{3 - 1} \\  =  - 50

Thus the sequence up to third is (-2),(10),(-50)...
