Given:

Total number of people in the group = 100

Number of people who like cinema, n(C) = 40

Number of people who like both drama and cinema, n(D) = 10

To find:

How many people like drama and how many only like drama.

Solution:

n(C∪D) = n(C) + n(D) - n(C∩D)

100 = 40 + n(D) - 10

n(D) = 100- 30

n(D) = 70

n(only D) = n(D) - n(C∩D)

n(only D) = 70 - 10 = 60

Therefore number of people who like drama is 70 and number of people who only like drama is 60.
