Let A be the group of students knowing Arabic,

and F be the group of students knowing French,

n(A) = 100 , n(F) = 50 , n(A U F) = 1225

Students knowing both (A intersection F)

(A U F) = n(A) + n(F) - n(A intersection F)

n( A intersection F) = n(A) + n(F) - n(A U F)

= 100 + 50 - 125 = 25

25 students know both.

Hope it helps!!

Thank you ✌️
