Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

know Total surface area of cuboid = 2( Length × Breadth + Length × Height + Breadth × Height )

So,

Total surface area of cuboidal box = 2 ( 6 × 8 + 6 × 15 + 8 × 15 ) = 2 ( 48 + 90 + 120 ) = 2 × 258 = 516 cm2

And

Volume of cuboid = Length × Breadth × Height

So,

Volume of cuboidal box = 6 × 8 × 15 = 720 cm3

And

We know Total surface area of cylinder = 2π r h + 2π r2

So,

Surface area of cylindrical box = 2×227× 7 × 15+2×227× 7 ×7 = 2 × 22 × 15 + 2 × 22 × 7 + 660 + 308 = 968 cm2

And

Volume of cylinder = π r2 h

So,

Volume of cylindrical box = 227× 7 ×7 × 15 = 22 × 7 × 15 = 2310 cm3

So,

we can see that surface area and volume of cylindrical box is more than cuboidal box . ( Ans )

And

The girls depicts their caring nature towards their friend
