Let a be no. of people speaking hindi and b be no. of people speaking english.
n(a) = 35
n(b) = ?
Number of people who speak only english = 50-35 = 15
Number of people who speak english = 15+25 = 40 = n(b)

TOTAL: 50
only hindi: 35
so, only English: 15
25 speak both

so English:25+15=40
