In a group of 50 students,there are 30 boys & 40 vegetarians & 25

vegetarian boys. Find the number of (i) girls who are vegetarian

(ii)boys & girls who are non − vegetarian.

the number of non vegetarian girls =5

the number of non vegetarian boys and girls = 10

number of vegetarians = 40

⇒ total number of non vegetarians =50 -40= 10

number of boys in that group =  30

⇒ number of girls = 50 -30 =20

⇒ in 30 number of boys, vegetarian boys = 25

⇒ non vegetarian girls = 10 -5 =5 [ no of non veg- no of non veg boys]
