the question is wrong. I tried to solve it , but when I was adding the numbers the answer came more than 60. well to solve it you needed to add 40, 35 and 26 but the answer should be less than 60, then subtract the number you got from adding by 60 and you will get the answer....and check the question again you might wrote it wrong.

Dont  mind if my answer or explanation is incorrect.

Answer:

Some may think the question is wrong but it has a different way of solving as it is twisted..

First add number of people like to read newspaper and number of people like to read magazine. Then subtract 26 from the answer. Then subtract the next answer from 60 .Hence you find the answer.

Step-by-step explanation:

Let number of people like to read newspaper be x

Let number of people like to read magazine be y

Let number of people like both be z

x=40

y=35

(x+y) =40+35

= 75

Now,

( x+y) -z = 75-26

= 49

Num of people who read neither newspapers nor magazines = 60 -49

= 11

Hence 11 people neither read newspaper nor magazine..

Hope you find it useful
