In a group of 65 people, 40 like cricket, 10 like both cricket and tennis. How many like tennis only and not cricket ? How many like tennis ?

please solve using sets theory​

Answer:

n(U)=65

n(C)= 40

n(CnT)= 10

Soln:

n(U) = n(C)+ n(T) - n(CnT)

65= 40+n(T)- 10

65- 30= n(T)

n(T)= 35

Now,

no(T)= n(T)- n(CnT)

          = 35-10

            = 25

Therefore, 25 like only tennis but not cricket whereas 35 like cricket.
