1/5*x=football

1/4*x=basketball

2/5*x=cricket

30=others

∴1/5*x+1/4*x+2/5*x+30=x

1/5*x+2/5*x+1/4*x+30=x

3x/5+x/4+30=x

(12x+5x)/20+30=x

17x/20+30=

17x+600/20=x

17x+600=20x

20x-17x=600

3x=600

x=200

∴total no. of children is 200
