In a group of cows and hens, the number of legs are 14 more than twice the number of heads.
The number of cows is:

Let the number of cows be "C" and Hens be"H"

Then total number of legs will be 4C + 2H
total number of heads will be C + H

According to the question,
4C + 2H = 2C + 2H + 14
2C = 14
C = 7

Therefore the number of cows is 7
