 \textbf {Hey there, here is the solution.}

.............................................................................................

STEP 1: Find the percentage of males that are married:

males = 70% (Given)

Married males = 2/7 x 70% = 20%

.............................................................................................

STEP 2: Find the percentage of females that are married:

Married = 30% (Given)

Married females = 30 - 20 = 10%

.............................................................................................

STEP 3: Find the percentage of females that are single:

Males = 70% (Given)

Females = 100 - 70 = 30%

Females that are single = 30 - 10 = 20%

.............................................................................................

STEP 4: Find the fraction of females that are single:

20% = 20/100 = 1/5

.............................................................................................

Answer: 1/5 of the females are single.

Given that,

70% = mail

Married males = 2/7×70= 20%

Married people= 30%
Married females= 30-20= 10%

Males= 70%
Females= 100-70=30%

Females are single = 30-10=20%

20%= 20/100

=> 1/5
