100 school girls were there in the hall

mohit2238: how? process?
anuragthethor: total people 600. 1/3 are females therefore 1/3×600 =200. females =200 and 1/2 females are school girls therefore 1/2×200 = 100 . therefore 100 school girls.

No of females = 1/2 × 600= 300.

no of girls = 1/3 × (no of females)

= 1/3 × 300 = 100 girls.

Answer: 100 girls.
