In a hall there are 960 persons .If the number of women is two times the number of men and the number of men is three times the number of children , find how many women are there ?

children=x      men=3x        women=2(3x)=6x          x+3x+6x=960     10x=960      x=96(children)       women=96*6=576                                                                   therefore there are 576 women in the hall
