In a History examination, the average for the entire class was
80 marks. If 10% of the students scored 95 marks and 20% scored 90 marks. What was the average marks of the remaining students of the class​

➡Let there are total 100 students in a class each having 80 marks

If 10%of the students having 95 marks

It means 10 students each having 95 marks

95- 80=15 (15 marks are more than their average marks)

15 ×10=150 marks are more (of total 10 students )

20% students having each 90 marks

90–80 =10 (more than their average 80 marks)

20 ×10 =200 total marks are more for 20 students

Total marks more than their average for 30 students are 200+150=350

That means if these 30 students having 350 more marks then to maintain overall average (80 ) 70 students having 350 less marks

So the average of 350 for 70 students is 350/70=5 so the average of remaining students are 80 -5 =75....
