Answer is 48 percent.
Plot 1: 200 seeds. Out of which 57 percent germinated i.e., 114 seeds germinated.
Plot 2: 300 seeds. Out of which 42 percent germinated i.e., 126 seeds germinated.
Now total no. of seeds= 200+300=500.
Total no. of seeds germinated =114+126=240.
Percent of total no. of germinated seeds=(240/500)*100
=240/5
=48.
