Step-by-step explanation:

Total number of immigrants=350

Number of immigrants knowing French n(F)= 50/100*350= 125

Number of immigrants knowing German n(G)= 40/100*350= 140

Number of immigrants knowing both French and German n(F intersection G)= 20/100*350= 70

Number of immigrants knowing French or German n(F union G)

= n(F) + n(G) - n(F intersection G)

=125+140-70= 125+ 70= 195

Therefore ,

Number of immigrants knowing Italian= 350- 195= 155

105.

Step-by-step explanation:

Only French = (50-20)=30%

only German= (40-20)=20%

Both French and German =20%

Only I - (100-30+20+20)=30%

30% of 350= 105
