In a hostel mess 20 children consume a certain quantity of ration in 6 days however 5 children did return after holidays. How long the amount of ration last now​

now we know that x is consumed by 120 students by 20 children each day a week of 6 days

now let the food is x KGS which is eaten by each child for 6times

this mean s the 20 children eat 6times

it means that food xkgs can be eaten by120 right chidren (I considered that 20kid who ate the food are different every day which says it is completed by 120 children)

now there is only (20-5)on15 kid they can eat ie 5kids can consume like 30 kids for 6days so these 30kid quantity is disturbted for 2days

I.e it can be shared for 2days

now for same x

x=15×y

(therefore x we know it is 120 from above)

now 120=15×y

120/15=y
