Answer: Bulb = 4×100×5/1000 = 2kmh

30×2=60

Total cost = 60×2.5 = ₹150

Fans = 2×50×10/1000 = 1 kmh

30×1=30

Total cost = 30×2.5 = ₹75

Overall cost = 150 + 75 = ₹225

Explanation: hope this is correct. THANK YOU

Answer:

The total expenditure is 90Rs

Explanation:

Given:

Total number of bulbs=4

Total number of fans=2

Usage of bulbb=5h

Usage of fan=10h

Power of bulb=100W

Power of fan=50w

Number of days=30

Cost of one unit of electricity=2.5Rs

To find:

Cost of total power consumption.

Solution:
1) For bulb,

Time(t)=30*5=150h

Energy=Power*Time

            =100*150 = 15000J

For 4 bulbs, 15000*4=6000J

6000J=6 units

2) For fan,

Time(t)=30*10=300h

Energy=Power*Time

           =50*300=15000J

For 2 fans, 15000*2=30000J

30000J=30 units

The total units of power consumed =36 units

Therefore, the total expenditure=36*2.5=90Rs
