in a house 5 CF lamps each of 20 watt work for 5 hours5 fan each of 60 watt work for 4 hours and a TV of 100 watt works for 2 hours in a day what will be the cost of electrical energy they have to pay in a month at the rate of rupees 5 per unit. plz help me​

power of CFL lamps = 20×5 = 100 watt.

Energy = 0.1× 5 = 0.5kwh.

in one month = 0.5× 30 = 1.5kwh

power of fan = 60× 5 = 300 watt

Energy = 0.3 × 4 = 1.2 Kwh.

in one month = 1.2 × 30 = 36 kwh

power of TV = 100 watt.

Energy = 100 × 2 = 200 watt Or 0.2 kwh.

in one month = 0.2 × 30 = 6 kwh.

Total energy consumption = 1.5 kwh + 36 kwh + 6 kwh = 43.5 kwh.

Total cost = 43.5 × 5 = 217.5

hence ₹ 217.5 is the answer
