In a house hold contains two bulbs each of 10 watt which glows 10 hours daily and one television of 100 watt which runs 8 hour daily and two fan having 100 watt each runs 5 hours daily . Find the cost electricity consume in the month of September if one unit cost ₹8​

Energy = Power*time

Energy consumed by 100 W bulb per day = 2∗100 Wh               

                                                                      = 0.2 kWh

Energy consumed by 40 W bulbs per day = 4∗40∗4 Wh

                                                                      = 0.64 kWh

Total energy consumed per day = 0.2 + 0.64 kWh

                                                   = 0.84 kWh 

Therefore, the energy consumed in 30 days = 30∗0.84 kWh

                                                                                    = 25.2 kWh
