In a hydroelectric power plant, water falls from a height of 51 m. If the quantity of water falling per second be 108 kg, calculate : (i) the work done by the falling water at the base of the dam. (ii) power generated by the plant under ideal conditions. (iii) the useful electrical power available when the generator is 90% efficient.
