In a journey of 300 km a train slowed down speed by 50 km/hr due to bad weather and took one hour more to complete the journey the original speed of the train was ?

let the original time for the journey be 't'

and the original spred be 'x'

we know that ... speed =distance/time

=>distance /speed =time

so, according to given situation..

300/x = t .......1

2nd situation

300/ x-50 = t + 1

substitute value of 't' from eq ....1

300/x-50 = (300/x)+ 1

300/x-50 = (300 + x) /x

solve the given eq ... you will get ur ans ...
