The number of Saturdays in a leap year is 52.

Solution:

As per given details,

A usual year has 52 (Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays + 1 day) that means if the first day of the leap year is Monday then it means 30^{th} December will be Monday.

But now 31^{st} December can’t be Mondays since there is increase of 1 day in February therefore the year ends in Tuesday that is 31^{st}December.

Hence, the number of Saturday is 52 as the last Saturday was on \bold{28^{th}} December and the last date of \bold{31^{st}} December on Tuesday, hence with no increase in the days.
