In a linear pair, if one angle is 2/3 rd. of the other angle, then what is the measure of
both the angles?

Answer:

we know linear pair angles are supplementary

hence by the given condition,

x + 2x/3 = 180°

3x+2x/3 = 180°

5x/3 = 180°

5x = 180×3

5x = 540

x = 540/5

x = 108°

now another angle is 2x/3

= 2×108/3

= 216/3

= 72°
