Concept Introduction:-

It could take the shape of a word or a numerical representation of a quantity's arithmetic value.

Given Information:-

We have been given that in a machine an effort of 200N is required to lift certain load when it's efficiency is 60\%.

To Find:-

We have to find that ideal effort.

Solution:-

According to the problem

Efficiency = 60\%

When W = 6kN = 6000 N, P = 200 N

M.A. = W/P = 6000/200 = 30

As, Efficiency = M.A./V.R. \times 100       (M.A = Mechanical advantage)

V.R = (M.A/Efficiency) \times 100\\       = (30/60) \times 100 = 50

Ideal Effort =\frac{load}{VR}\\ =\frac{200}{50}\\ =4

Final Answer:-

The correct answer is ideal effort of the machine is 4.
