Answer: CP= Rs240

Shopkeeper(1)= 1/5×240= Rs48 off

= Rs240-48=Rs192

Shopkeeper(2)=1/10×240=Rs24 off

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

The cost of one packet of coffee is Rs240.

The cost of reduction by first shopkeeper is,

240×

5

1

=48

240−48=Rs192

The cost of reduction by second shopkeeper is,

240×

10

1

=24

240−24=Rs216

As the decreased amount of first shopkeeper is less than the second shopkeeper, so, the offer of first shopkeeper is better.

The difference between both the offers is 216−192=Rs24

Therefore, the price at which the coffee is sold is Rs24.
