Hello friend

Total number of prizes are 30

1st prizes are x in number then 2nd prizes will be 30-x in number
__________________________________________________

Total value of prize Money is 52000

We get 52000 but adding the value of 1st prize + value of 2nd prize

Value of 1st prize is 2000x

Value of 2nd prize is 1000(30-x)=30000-1000x

2000x+30000-1000x=52000

1000x+30000=52000

1000x=52000-30000

1000x=22000

x=22

No of first prizes is x=22

No of second prizes is 30-x=30-22=8
