ANSWER

In 100g,we have 32g of oxygen.

And, 100−32=68g of metal

Mass of oxygen / Mass of metal

​ =

Eq.wt.ofoxygen / Eq.wt.ofmetal

32/68 = 8 /x

x= (32/68)×8

x=17 gram
