a and b are radius of holes
c & d are the length and width of metal sheet
Dotted lines shows the sheet after increase in temperature
Expansion because of increase in temperature happens.
Hence Length & width are increased
so c & d will increase
circumference of hole increases as material expand hence radius of circle / diameter of circle will also increase
hence a & b will also increase
( its like a ring when , temperature is increased its dia/size increases)
