In a mixture of 13 litres the ratio of milk and water is 3:2. i'd

Let milk be 3x and water be 2x

So, 3x + 2x = 13
      5x = 13
      x = 13/5 = 2.6

Now, Milk = 2.6 x 3 = 7.8 litres
         Water = 2.6 x 2 = 5.2 litres
