In a mixture of 80 litres of milk and water, 25% of the mixture is milk.
How much water should be added to the milk so that the ratio of milk to
water is 1:4

if we want to change the percent of milk from 25% to 20% by adding water. then we add 20 litres water because after adding 20 litres water the mixture will become of 100 litres and 20% of mixture is milk which is 20 litres and 80% water which is 80 litres (60+20).

so now mixture = 100L

and 20 L milk : 80 L water = 1 : 4
