In a model of a ship,the mast is 9cm,while the mast of actual ship is 15m high. If the length of ship is 35 m ,how long is the model ship

y. 9. y1
if x increases then y will also increase so this is in direct proportion
15/9 = 35/y1
y1 = 35/15 x 9
y1 = 21
y1 = 21 cm
Hence the length of the model ship was 21 cm
