The number=48

Step-by-step explanation:

Let unit digit of two digit number=x

Tens digit of two digit number=y

Number=10y+x

According to question

x=2y

10y+x+36=10x+y

10y-y+36=10x-x

9y+36=9x

Equation on both sides divided by 9

y+4=x

Substitute the values of x

y+4=2y

2y-y=4

y=4

Substitute the value of y

x=2(4)=8

Then , the number =10(4)+8=40+8=48

Hence, the number=48
