Let x be the number of tress in each row and y be the number of tress in each column.

In a orange garden of Mr. Madhusudan there are 150 trees

x+y=150                 .....[1]

It is also given the no of tree in each row is 5 more than that in each column.

x = 5+y                    .....[2]

Substitute equation [2] into [1] we get

5+y+y =150

Combine like terms;'

5+2y =150

Subtract 5 from both sides we get;

2y =145

Divide both sides by 2 we get;

y =72.5

Substitute in [2] we get;

x = 5+72.5=77.5

Therefore, number of trees in each row is 77.5 and number of trees in each column is 72.5
