Answer:

Complementary angles means their sum is 90°.

i.e x + y = 90° where x and y are the 2 angles.

Gn : 1 angle is 2/3

Let x = 2/3

so x + y = 90°

2/3 + y = 90°

y = 90 - 2/3

Taking LCM

y = (270-2)/3

y= 268/3

y = 89 1/3 ( mixed fraction)

ANS : 89 1/3°

Answer:

Let the first complementary angle be x.

second angle be 2x/3.

x+2x/3=90° ( complementary angles)

(3x+2x)/3=90°

5x/3=90°

5x=270°

x=54°

2x/3=36°
